Westcott CC 2nd XI

Westcott CC 2nd XI compete in Division 7a of the Cherwell Cricket League and will host Tiddington CC on Saturday 31st July 2021, having salvaged a draw against Bledlow Ridge CC the previous week with Rasika Arukgoda (Ras), pictured right, taking 4-23 in his spell of bowling and skipper Lewis Jeacock batting through not out for 45 overs.

After leading them to a comfortable mid table finish last season, the team will be once again be captained by Lewis Jeacock, with Tom Young continuing as his vice captain.

Playing in the Cherwell Cricket League will bring about fresh challenges for batsmen, bowlers and ground staff alike. Matches will start at 1pm (except the last two weeks of the season which start at 1230pm) with two different playing formats incorporated into the season. Limited overs (win/lose) games will be played at the start and end of the season, with a timed win/draw/lose format being played in the middle weeks.
